Tucson is home to plenty of great options for kids to splash around and play when the heat gets too much. Grab your kids’ bathing suits, hats, water shoes, and sunscreen and head to one of these awesome, must-visit splash pads in Tucson, Arizona!

Heritage River Park Splash Pad

Where: 12280 N Heritage Park Dr, Marana, AZ 85653
Hours: Daily, 8 AM- 7 PM

Families love the Heritage River Park Splash Pad! With 4,500 square feet of fun, the farm-themed park offers a water windmill, a tractor, and spraying horses!

Kids can also enjoy a nice playground, walking trails, a community garden, and more! Admission is free!

Brandi Fenton Splash Pad

Where: 3482 E River Rd, Tucson, AZ 85718
Hours: Daily, 8 AM- 7 PM

This awesome splash pash features spray arches, water geysers, and many other fun water features!

The splash pad welcomes kids ages 12 and under, and their caregivers. Kids can also have fun in the playground with shade, basketball and soccer fields, ramadas, and more! Admission to Brandi Fenton Splash Pad is free!

Rancho Sahuarita Water Park

Where: 15455 S Camino Lago Azul, Sahuarita
Hours: Monday- Sunday 10 AM- 7 PM

This is Southern Arizona’s largest splash park! Kids will get to enjoy water slides of many sizes, spraying water features, a huge bucket that dumps water, a shaded cover, and more!

There’s also a lap pool, spa, tanning chairs, picnic tables, and more! The entrance is free for residents, but not open to the public.

Cool Water Kids Splash Pad

Where: 2561 W Ruthrauff Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705
Hours: Monday- Saturday, 10 AM-5 PM | Sundays, 1 PM -5 PM

Cool Water Kids Splash Pad is another fantastic option for splash pads in Tucson!

It offers many fun features and kids’ favorites. It can accommodate up to 75 children and adults. A great option to cool off this summer! The admission fee is free!

Oro Valley Aquatic Center Splash Pad

Where: 23 W Calle Concordia, Oro Valley, AZ 85704
Hours: Splash Pad: Monday-Friday 9 AM -8 PM  | Saturday 9 AM -5 PM | Sunday 9 AM-4 PM

The amazing splash pad located inside the Oro Valley Aquatic Center is small but amazing!

It features flower-shaped water equipment and great fountains that flow upward from the ground. The aquatic center features pools, a water slide, and so much more! The admission is free for 3 years old and younger.

Tucson Jewish Community Center

Where: 3800 E River Rd, Tucson, AZ 85718
Hours: Sundays, 7 AM-7:30 PM | Mondays-Thursdays, 5 AM-9:30 PM | Fridays, 5 AM-5:30 PM | Saturdays, 7 AM-5:30 PM

This 110,000 square feet facility features awesome splash pads with many colorful spraying water equipment, a little slide, and more for kids of all ages!

You will also find a sculpture garden, an art gallery, pools, and more. The entrance is free to Tucson J members, and day passes are available for $10 per person.

Catalina Park Splash Pad

Where: 941 N 4th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85705
Hours: Daily, 6 AM- 7 PM

The splash pad was designed with a manual activation system that allows residents to turn on the water features whenever they want!

Kids will also love the covered playground, a ramada, a picnic site, and more!

Warden Family Splash Pad

Where: 5110 S. San Joaquin Ave, Tucson
Hours: 8 AM – 7 PM The splash pad is open from May 1 to Halloween

This awesome splash pad features state-of-the-art water cannons, sun spray, ground sprays, and a big tsunami dumping bucket!

Warden Family Splash Pad is a great option for fun spots for kids this summer!

Picture Rocks Splash Pad

Where: 5615 N. Sanders Rd., Tucson
Hours: May 25- Aug. 4: 1 PM- 6 PM, Monday-Thursday | 1 PM- 7 PM Saturday and Sunday

This amazing pool also features a splash pad and a zero-depth entry, many great water features, interactive statues, shaded benches, and more!

Picture Rocks also offer swim lessons and many other fun programs! There’s a small fee for the entrance.

Crossroads at Silverbell District Park Splash Pad

Where: 7548 North Silverbell Road
Hours: Daily, 6 AM- 10 PM

Crossroads at Silverbell District Park features an amazing splash pad with jets for the kids to have a blast running through them!

You can also find a multi-use field, grills, tennis courts, and so much more!


Where: 401 S. Prudence Rd., Tucson

The Ott YMCA is located on Tucson’s East Side and is the only Southern Arizona YMCA with a splash pad!

Children of all ages will have a blast cooling off at this colorful, kid-friendly space!

Cactus Springs at Funtasticks Family Fun Park

Where: 221 E. Wetmore Road, Tucson

Although you’ll be charged a fee for admittance, this unique and huge splash pad is worth it!

Cactus Springs water play attraction at Funtasticks Tucson will have multiple levels, featuring colorful water slides and many gigantic tipping buckets that dump 1000 gallons of water every 10 minutes. The new attraction will also have bubbler jets, water wheels, water curtains, and waterfalls which will all be perfect for children and families to cool off!

Lincoln Regional Park Splash Pad

Where: 4325 S. Pantano

This huge park features many fun attractions for summer fun, including a beach entry swimming pool and a great splash pad!

You will also find soccer fields, shaded playgrounds, and a 1-mile walking path. 

Morris K. Udall Park Splash Pad

Where: 7290 E. Tanque Verde Road

This is one of the largest parks on the East Side of Tucson and, of course, it features a splash pad to cool off during the summer months!

The park is also home to a recreation center, outdoor amphitheater, sports fields, pickleball courts, sand volleyball courts, and so much more! 

Purple Heart Park Splash Pad

Where: 9800 E Rita Rd, Tucson, AZ 85747

The Purple Heart Park splash pad is a brand new addition to the many features and activities you can find at Purple Heart Park. 

The splash pad is open seasonally, April through October, from 8AM to sunset, daily.
