About Pima County – Parks and Recreation

The Pima County Parks and Natural Resources, Parks, and Recreation Department is responsible for many things, from the Tucson Mountain Parks to overseeing all the diverse after-school programs, recreational or educational, for school-age kids. They welcome every resident to take an active role in their community by participating in the variety of classes, programs, and events they offer, or by hiking and playing in the many parks you can find!

Programs as diverse as Movie Nights allow the whole family to embrace the summer sky in a unique activity or in the diverse possibilities of parks and pools, where you can learn how to swim in the community pools as well as play in the natural beauty of the parks. There are also plenty of programs for all ages, from preschool to teens and more, at the community centers!
